Sale/Hire Back financing is a great option for businesses who may have purchased trucks and trailers in full, however an unexpected business opportunity has arisen, and those previously spent funds are needed. The lender will then finance the purchase of the truck and trailer so you can access those funds again. This can take the form of a lease, commercial hire purchase, or a chattel mortgage.

Operating Lease

Often Operating leases are used to fund technologies like computers, printing equipment, and telephones, but can be used for trucks and trailers. In an operating lease you are not considered the owner, instead you are renting the truck and trailer from a financial institution, while the asset being leased stays off the balance sheet. At the end of the lease you simply hand back the truck and trailer, or buy it back off the financial institution.

Can I finance a used truck?

If I don’t have a deposit for a truck can I still get financing?

With a chattel mortgage you will be able to purchase a truck without a deposit. With these deals you will also be able to finance extras like tool boxes, tow bars or upgrades you may need done.
